Norwegian salmon exporter Platina Seafood reported a bumper 2014, reaching revenues of NOK 539.1 million (€62.5 million/$71.1 million), up from NOK 300.8 million (€34.9 million/$39.7 million) in the previous year.

Operating profit jumped to NOK 25.2 million (€2.9 million/$3.3 million), up from NOK 18.1 million (€2.1 million/$2.4 million) the previous year.

With a profit margin of 4.7 percent, the company, which is owned and operated by Andre Skarbo, will be landing among the top independent exporters in terms of margins.
