SalMar CEO Yngve Myhre told IntraFish he sees "no issue" with Leroy as one of the major shareholders in Villa Organic, after both companies announced the acquisition of shares on Wednesday.
Today's purchase was agreed before it was known Leroy had bought almost 40 percent, he said.
"I can only refer to what [Henning] Beltestad (CEO at Leroy) told Intrafish earlier today," he said. "The companies have a long history of collaboration, and I do not see any problem with it.
"Both will develop the company," Myhre told IntraFish, after the company announced the acquisition of a further 13.45
