According to the allocation of five new licenses this summer by the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries, two were dealt to SalMar, one to Villa Organic, one to Arnoylaks and one to Naeroysund.
Naeroysund, which later went bankrupt, declined to purchase the license. This was then allocated to Villa Organic, which received a total of two ecological licenses.
At its presentation for the third quarter SalMar said it obtained another new ecological production license, giving it production licenses from this summer’s allocation.
“Arnoylaks was originally awarded a new ecological license, but they have also declined the allocation.
