Russia's  Sea of Okhotsk pollock fishery has passed the test and now will be awarded a Marine Stewardship Council eco-label, signifying it is a sustainable fishery.

Independent adjudicator Michael Lodge released his final decision Monday on the objection filed by the At-sea Processors Association (APA).

He accepted the responses of the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB), Intertek Moody Marine, clearing the way for the fishery to be certified to the MSC standard as a sustainable and well-managed fishery.
