The Russian veterinary service is stepping up inspection of products from Norwegian salmon plants.
Rosselkhoznadzor reported on its website that it is implementing intensified laboratory testing of fresh salmon products from Fiskekroken AS. Earlier this month products from several other Norwegian producers were subjected to the same stringent inspection.
From the Norwegian side there hasn’t been any warning of tightened inspection of Norwegian products, either from the recent cooperation meeting between Norway and Russia, or in any other way.
