Rosselkhoznadzor, the Russian veterinary service, announced it will continue its strict safety control at three Norwegian companies, it said on its website.
The companies in question include Fiskekroken (fresh and frozen salmon), Kongsfjorden (Havfisk), and Mainstream Norway of Cermaq (fresh and frozen salmon).
They now face greater control. In addition, processor Brandasund Fish Distribution is temporarily banned from importing its products into Russia from Aug. 23 onwards.
