Danish whitefish processor Espersen sank into the red in 2014, hit in particular by the impacts of the Russian ban imposed back in August.
While revenues were marginally up over the year at DKK 1.91 billion (€256 million/$290.6 million), an increase of 1 percent on the DKK 1.88 billion (€252 million/$286.1 million) it posted in 2013, overall profit plummeted significantly.
