Russian fishing will benefit from the trade restrictions imposed against European Union and some other countries at the beginning of August, according to the country’s authorities.
The government is currently preparing several new reforms aiming to make the fishing business more profitable and ensure banned imported products will be replaced by the domestic manufacturers.
In particular, Russia's President Vladimir Putin, after the meeting with the head of the Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky, proposed the country’s government increase the export duty on exports of raw fish from the Far East.
