The individually frozen Greenland halibut disks are wrapped with Danish bacon and portion-controlled, offering chefs an unusual two-prong combination of texture and flavor. The product can be prepared in the oven, pan or grill.
Developed once again by product development manager Jan Soinjoki and his team in Glyngoere, Denmark, the halibut tournedos began testing across Europe last week, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, and Finland.
Royal Greenland’s salmon version is available in nearly every European country.
