The €220 million ($315 million) upgrade and extension to the facilities at Boulogne, one of France's largest seafood ports, is nearing completion, with one firm -- Ocean Delices -- already operating in the 15 hectares now dedicated to the fishing industry.
Meanwhile, processor Capitaine Houat, with a turnover of €130 million ($186 million), is planning to relocate its three existing operations scattered across the area into one central plant, currently under construction in the port and due to be finished by September.
