Tesco, Asda and Morrisons -- the United Kingdom’s first, second and fourth largest retailers in market share -- have all removed Vietnam-farmed pangasius supplied by Seaham, U.K.-based processor Cumbrian Seafoods, after products were found to contain excess levels of substances used to add water to fish.
This comes as trading standards officers reported findings billed as “incredible,” on a random test of some retail pangasius products.
