The goal is to get consumers to eat seafood twice a week, or 8 times a month, but what is the reality. Well, it’s a lot lower than that.

Sixty-nine percent of US consumers say they eat seafood at least once every 90 days – 87% say they eat meat at least once every 90 days — according to the new Seafood & Vegetarian Consumer Trend Report from Technomic.

The report examines consumer consumption behavior, purchasing decisions, attitudes and preferences for seafood and vegetarian/vegan items.
