On Monday, Stevenson, once a vociferous critic of Vietnamese aquaculture imports, made a repentant backpedaling about his comments.

In a longer letter published on Wednesday, and initially sent to Vietnam, the Conservative Euro MP for Scotland said he is now eating a pie of humility.
