Last Friday's deadline to submit a bid for debt ridden Sablefish Canada came and went with "numerous" companies putting in their offers for large portions of the Vancouver-based fish farming company, but more could be on the way.
Martin Hyatt, vice president of court-appointed receiver Bowra Group, told IntraFish offers can still be submitted and accepted until the court agrees to an offer the firm, which was put into receivership in June.
"We have a number of options we’re pursing at this time, but each will take some additional due diligence," Hyatt said.
