PSPA wants to be second client for MSC Alaska salmon certificate

After months of back and forth unsuccessful attempts to rejoin the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certificate, the Pacific Seafood Processors Association (PSPA) is stepping up and applying to be a second client for Alaska salmon, Glenn Reed, president at the association, told IntraFish.

Reed said it just entered the process Monday and Tuesday, but the decision had been made at the association's June board meeting that "if we were not successful by late June or early July, we'd step up," he said.
