“We came into this venture thinking we were going to see the biggest growth by focusing on exports to Western Europe,” new owner Gudmundur Stefansson said.
"But once we got here we realized just how much potential there is in the domestic Polish market and to the east," Stefansson told IntraFish.
Stefansson, who has formerly worked for Alfesca and Icelandic Group, is one of four Icelandic investors who together purchased an 85 percent stake in Proryb in mid-April in a deal financed by Landsbanki.
