The "historic gap" between prices for small and big-sized salmon is set to close up at least a few notches next week, five farmers and exporters IntraFish talked to Friday, said.
Prices for the smallest salmon are expected to rise next week, while prices for the biggest fish have fallen slightly.
The reason for the fall in the largest fish is simply that the price level was too high for buyers. Prices also vary by whether the fish is transported by plane or not.
