After a profitable 12 months in 2012 for feed manufacturer Polarfeed Sales’ fortunes reversed in the last financial year as turnover dropped more than 20 percent.
Sales fell to NOK 271.8 million (€33.3 million/$41.7 million) from NOK 343.2 million (€42 million/$52.6 million) year-on-year, and operating profit ended up in the red with a loss of NOK 10.4 million (€1.3 million/$1.6 million) in 2013, compared to a plus of NOK 5.7 million (€697,720/$873,525) in the previous year.
