Illinois-based supplier The Plitt Co., which itself was placed in receivership last month by its bank lender and continues to look for a buyer, is owed $89,464 (€64,089) by Minneapolis-based Oceanaire, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Sunday in federal court in Dallas.

Court documents show most of the money owed by Oceanaire – it listed assets of between $1 million (€715,000) and $10 million (€7.2 million), and debt of $10 million to $50 million (€35.8 million) – is owed to companies holding the leases to the properties where it has restaurants, but several hundred thousand dollars is owed to seafood suppliers.
