Gromi AS (Grontvedt Marine Industries) is looking to take the initiative for development and establishment of a new land-based aquaculture concept for farming of salmon that takes into account tidal differences as the basis for supplying of sea water into land-based fish farming.
A pilot project is now being prepared that will clarify the conditions for establishment of what hopefully will be a land-based research station for salmonids on a grand scale at Kraakvaag, Orland, South-Trondelag.
The project manager is Frode Blakstad of Inaq Management.
