The Scottish Salmon Producers Organization (SSPO) says it's concerned about the approaches local authorities may take in carrying out necessary planning reviews.
The transfer from The Crown Estate to local authorities represents a fundamental change in relation to the current regime, handing local government authorities extensive powers on a regional basis, CEO Sid Patten told IntraFish
“They must have a strategic plan, but at this stage we are unaware of what this is likely to be,” Patten said.
