The new 83 meter vessel, built at Asmar in Chile for Faroese owners Hvalnes, is currently undergoing the final phases of fitting out in Klaksvik, the Faroe Islands.
In addition to its production capacity for a variety of skinless and skin-on fillets, as well as wholefrozen and H&G mackerel, herring, blue whiting and capelin products, Nordborg also has a fishmeal production plant on board that gives the ship its flexibility of operation.
