Baltimore-based Phillips Foods promoted Sarah Palmer as its new director of foodservice sales.

Palmer has more than 25 years of experience in the foodservice industry, including five years with Phillips as a product specialist.

The company said she will help lead overall sales strategy and business growth, along with maintaining direct sales responsibility for the Mid-Atlantic US region.

"Sarah has been a dynamic and successful member of our team for many years," said President and CEO Steve Phillips.

"She has been instrumental to our foodservice sales success across all regions, and this new position will enable her to more comprehensively drive our foodservice business growth forward."
