Fish vaccine manufacturer Pharmaq is currently in the process of applying for a marketing permit in several countries for its pancreas disease (PD) vaccine. They hope to receive a reply in the course of 2015.
"An application has been submitted to obtain a marketing permit for our PD vaccine, and we anticipate this should be ready once the MSD patent expires," Morten Nordstad, managing director at Pharmaq, told IntraFish.
"We decided to change the application process in order to include more countries in the marketing parallel with launching of the new vaccine,” he said.
