A study by a Spanish institute found that eating frozen Namibian hake can decrease risks related to cardiovascular diseases such as waist circumference, blood pressure and lipid profile, Pescanova’s CEO Angel Matamoro Irago said at the Value Added Seafood Conference in London on Sept. 28.
The 16-week study was conducted across 10 hospitals in Spain and led by the Spanish Biomedical Centre for the Study of the Physiopathology of Obesity and Nutrition (CIBEROBN).
