Peru’s total seafood landings reached around 1.9 million metric tons in June this year, an increase of 27.9 percent year-on-year according to the latest figures from Subpesca.
However, despite this rise, landings were still 12.6 percent lower than the average for the five years between 2009 to 2013, said the report.
