The buyout offer comes four months after Permira-backed Nutrilux acquired over 74 percent of Provimi.
Provimi's fish feed sales make up around 11 percent of its total €1.6 billion ($2.1 billion) in revenue. The company supplies feed for salmon, trout, sea bass and turbot, among other species.
