The company is highly competent, and it masters the difficult art of existing successfully on the stock exchange.
Though not dropping in value, to ensure continued interest on the stock exchange, the company has to grow.
The situation today is that SalMar needs fish from Norway to build up its own sales organization and to support value-added processing activities in Norway and abroad.
The most obvious conceivable move for SalMar would be to take over Norway Royal Salmon, NRS.
This is possibly a far-fetched alternative, but NRS is a company that is complex in its organization, and which is struggling to find its niche.
