Marine Harvest is having a hard time keeping control of the locomotive it put into motion a few years ago, but principal shareholder John Fredriksen is still very firmly along for the ride, and the same we would assume applies to the visions for the company.
Downtream opportunities?
When talking about Marine Harvest and the future, we usually talk about farming of new species such as tilapia and sea bass and bream. This is the probable direction for the company, but Marine Harvest could make a significant move sideways and even further down the value chain.
