High Liner Foods, the largest seafood company in Canada, looked into buying advertising to target Olympics viewers, but CEO Henry Demone said the company passed because the demographics were not enough of a fit for the high prices being charged to purchase time.
“There’s not a great demographic match with our core demographic, which is a female primary shopper with kids in the household. The Olympic demographic, you will see a lot of technology and wireless telephone services, cars, beer, depending on the sport,” Demone (pictured) told IntraFish.
