The Times will not reissue a series of advertisements, still in circulation, which recited scientist Boris Worm’s claims the world will be without seafood by 2048, IntraFish was told.
The newspaper ran a series of ads, including one that said it is the only national with a dedicated oceans correspondent, Frank Pope.
The ad campaign ran in September, two months after Pope published a story on July 31 entitled, “Fish will still be on the menu in 2048, if we are careful," on the back of a new study by Worm.
