The board said it would move the headquarters for the new Pan Fish -- an entity that includes the salmon-farming operations of Marine Harvest and Fjord Seafood -- to Oslo, Norway, but would keep CEO Atle Eide in place.

Eide, CEO since 2003, oversaw the massive realignment of the once-troubled firm. The executive was key in the acquisition process of Nutreco-owned Marine Harvest in March, and Norwegian rival Fjord Seafood, a process that began with the company's controlling share purchase in April.
