Eide, who is also CEO of the aquaculture corporation Pan Fish, took over as chairman for the fish producer organization after Lisbeth Berg-Hansen stepped down last year, shortly after she was re-elected at the annual meeting in Tromso, Norway.
“It’s a demanding job being the chairman of FHL Aquaculture, especially when you combine that with being the head of a company," Eide said. "I believe FHL Aquaculture should have a top leader in a company as the chairman, but it is as I said, a demanding combination, and it could be difficult to find a new leader."
