Pan Fish acquires Marine Harvest, Fjord Seafood stake

Following completion of the Marine Harvest takeover, Norwegian billionaire John Fredriksen has sold the company to 48 percent-owned Pan Fish for an enterprise value of €1.325 billion ($1.6 billion). In addition, Fredriksen sold his 25.7 percent stake in Fjord Seafood to Pan Fish.

Fredriksen's Geveran Trading agreed to buy 100 percent of Marine Harvest from owners Nutreco and Stolt-Nielsen, in a deal announced Monday morning.

Sources told IntraFish Monday morning that Geveran would sell 100 percent of Marine Harvest to Pan Fish.
