Starfish General Manager Bob O’Bryant told IntraFish new bagged shrimp, grilled salmon items and gluten-free items are in testing phase with several retailers, and will be fully listed within the next 60 days.
Starfish is looking to push its products further into the foodservice sector.
Starfish branded products, which in addition to bagged shrimp items include frozen haddock, cod and halibut products, are already carried in a range of retail outlets, including Costco, Whole Foods, BJ’s, QFC and others.
The new product push is part of an effort by Pacific to expand the Starfish brand nationally.
