Joo Siang Ng, the managing director of Pacific Andes International Holdings, has categorically denied the company or its subsidiaries own vessels or quotas in Russia, a matter reportedly being scrutinized by Russian authorities.
“We, including all our subsidiaries, do not own any fishing vessels fishing in Russia; we, including all our subsidiaries, do not own any company with Russian fishing quota; and we are wholly unaware of any investigation into our companies,” Ng wrote in an email to IntraFish.
Singapore-listed Pacific Andes International Holdings is the majority owner of Pacific Andes Resources Development, itself the majority owner of industrial fishing company China Fishery Group (CFGL).
