Hong Kong-based giant Pacific Andes Holding has withdrawn from the Russian market, after allegedly controlling about 60 percent of Russia's Alaska pollock catches only about two years ago. 

Pacific Andes came to the attention of Russian authorities in the spring of 2012, when data appeared it controlled about 60 percent of the Russian pollock catches. The companies affiliated with the group have not been named.
