Outback Steakhouse of Tampa, Fla., is quietly building the prototype for what some say will be its newest chain, the St. Petersburg Times reported.
"We don't have anything that we're ready to reveal about the brand just yet," Outback spokeswoman Stephanie Amberg told the paper Monday.
The newspaper reports the chain will be called Blue Coral Seafood and Wine. A firm using that name has leased space at the Fashion Island Mall in Newport Beach, Calif.
Blue Coral will likely sell an array of quality wines by the glass.
