Outback Steakhouse, Inc. has unveiled plans for a Chinese restaurant chain.
The Tampa-based restaurant giant on Wednesday laid out tentative plans for its newest restaurant concept, Paul Lee's Chinese Kitchen.
Outback plans to open the first two restaurants, in the Phoenix area and in Tampa's Citrus Park neighborhood, by the end of the year.
Outback has committed to providing up to $10 million to open the first five restaurants, the company's 2003 annual financial report states.
The company is developing the chain along with restaurateur Paul Fleming, who founded the P.F.
