Madagascan shrimp producer OSO has been awarded “Best Taste of the Year 2014” by French consumers for the ninth year in a row.

OSO Madagascan shrimp has retained the top position in premium seafood in France, particularly in the ready-to-eat segment.

OSO is a subsidiary of France's leading seafood distributor R&O Seafood Gastronomy. OSO has the world’s single largest organic shrimp farm producing 1,600 metric tons per annum, wholesaled in the UE and Japan at an average wholesale value of $24 (€18) per kg.

Along with its organic Madagascan prawns, OSO has developed a full range of premium certified seafood, including organic seabream and seabass farmed in the Gulf of Corinth which were chosen “best fish of the year” by French consumers.
