The company’s facility operates a lobster processing plant and live lobster storage facilities. A variety of other species of seafood are also processed, including crab, mackerel and herring.
The spring lobster-processing season begins May 1. The company said it is seeking to complete the sale process in a timely manner to facilitate the successful purchaser's plans to operate the facilities.
