South African fishing firm Oceana Group on Tuesday confirmed it will acquire Daybrook Fisheries, a United States-based menhaden fishing and processing operation.
In a note to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the company said the deal, valued at $382.3 million (€341.1 million) will include the entire share capital of Daybrook.
The share capital will be acquired through a combination of merger and stock purchase, it said, and "to be satisfied through a combination of Oceana cash on hand, term debt facilities, an equity bridge facility and United States debt.
