Dec. 10 2002 - The Wave News Network - Ocean Beauty Seafoods in Seattle and Prospect Enterprises Inc., dba American Fish & Seafood Co., “jointly determined” to terminate a proposed merger of their seafood distribution businesses, ending what would have been a $325 million distribution entity.

Since ther merger was announced last September, the two companies “realized that complications in reaching agreement on the structure of the transaction would make it difficult for their companies to achieve their vision for the combined operations,” a brief press release obtained from American Fish Tuesday explained.
