Nueva Pescanova appointed former Calvo executive, Carlos Sanchez, as its new supply chain manager and Manuel Hernandez as its new commercial director on Tuesday, the company said.
Sanchez is a naval engineer by the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, and has previous experience as Operations Manager in Europe for Calvo group. In addition, he was plant manager and head of the R & D, supply chain, quality and development departments for the giant tuna canner in Spain and El Salvador.
Hernandez has a finance degree from the Universidad de Cordoba, and has worked for the past 17 years at mobile network operator Orange Spain in various posts including general director of the Low Cost division, and commercial director.
