Norwegian producer Sol Smolt saw its revenues jump in the full financial year of 2014, nevertheless profits dropped year-on-year.
The company achieved sales of NOK 11.8 million (€1.4 million/$1.5 million), up from NOK 10.9 million (€1.3 million/$1.4 million) the previous year.
Operating profit dropped to NOK 1.9 million (€226,233/$249,508) from NOK 2.5 million (€297,675/$328,300) in 2013, with operating profit margin ending up at 15.8 percent.
The company, which has three employees, has a license to produce a half million salmon smolt.
Pre-tax profit last year came to NOK 2.1
