Norwegian salmon producer Midt-Norsk Havbruk more than tripled its profits between 2012 and 2013, boosted by the record-high salmon prices.
The group achieved sales of NOK 433.7 million (€51.6 million/$70.2 million), up from NOK 389.7 million (€46.4 million/$63.1 million) in the previous year.
Operating profit for 2013 amounted to NOK 116.6 million (€13.9 million/$18.9 million), compared to NOK 25.9 million (€3.1 million/$4.2 million) in 2012.
