Norwegian salmon producer Kobbvag Laks, located at Heroy in Nordland county, reported sales of NOK 81.9 million (€10.1 million/$13.7 million) on just two production licenses, making for a profit margin of more than 32 percent.
Sales more than doubled compared to 2012 when the company had a turnover of NOK 37 million (€4.6 million/$6.2 million). At the same time, operating profit improved to NOK 26.4 million (€3.3 million/$4.4 million) from NOK 7.7 million (€947,924/$1.3 million) in the previous year.
“The board of directors is satisfied with the result,” the company wrote in its annual report.
