Norwegian smoked salmon and value-added producer Lofotprodukt saw a jump in its full-year sales of 2012 to NOK 273.4 million (€34.8 million/$46.3 million) from NOK 212.2 million (€27 million/$35.9 million) in the previous year.

Operating profit for the group rose to NOK 10.6 million (€1.4 million/$1.8 million) from NOK 0.4 million (€50,958/$67,722) the previous year.

“Growth in volume mainly originated from the grocery market in Norway,” the board wrote in its annual report.
