Traders said fish weighing more than five kilos were not easy to sell.
“It is full stop among our customers for fish that cost more than NOK 25 (€3.16/$4.64)," one salmon trader in northern Norway said.
“The fish farmers we are dealing with are selling three to five kilos fish from between NOK 23.50-24 (€2.97-€3.03/$4.36-$4.45) per kilo,” the trader said
“Salmon between five to six kilos is around NOK 23 (€2.91/$4.27) to the farmer, while salmon more than six kilos have a price on NOK 22 (€2.78/$4.08)
