Prices for Norwegian Atlantic salmon are expected to see a further drop for next week, with industry sources reporting declines of NOK 3 (€0.36/$0.39) to NOK 4 (€0.48/$0.52) from last week's levels.
IntraFish was informed of prices of NOK 33 (€3.90/$4.30) and NOK 34 (€4.10/$4.40) per kilogram for salmon sized 3 to 6 kilogram in the north and south, respectively.
Salmon bigger than 6 kilograms are fetching prices of about NOK 1 (€0.12/$0.13) below the middle sizes (3-6 kg). This means the price is down NOK 3 (€0.36/$0.39)
